This year we focused on complex PridenoShame project, the set up of sanitary pads production unit for women by women.
We faced a number of logistical and official certification challenges. A variety of management, recruitment, production current issues were solved. The project team made a great effort to develop UZIMA.
We continued to support poor Nepalis communities with basic food, medicine and goods.
Consequences of Covid affected these people in many ways and we keep supporting them to improve their living conditions.
The main objective during these two years was to help refugees improve their living conditions by offering them various trainings and activities. These projects aim to make them as independent as possible.
The year 2020 was marked by Covid-19 and all the consequences it brought. FOH was deployed urgently to Nepal to distribute food and other necessities to the people who suffered this crisis. Covid-19 has also disrupted the new PrideNoShame program. In fact the transport of machinery necessary for the realization of the latter has been delayed by several months.
2018 was an important year for Friends of Humanity as we focused our actions on ongoing projects in the areas of education, women empowerment and emergency aid supporting refugees.
Indeed, in recent years, the world has experienced several political and economic crises, resulting in an unprecedented massive refugee crisis. Millions of refugees worldwide live in terrible and vulnerable conditions, which results in dramatic consequences to their social, cultural and economic development. They are considered as burdens by their host countries.
FOH projects have been implemented in Asia and Africa. Our main objective in 2016-2017 was to reinforce our support in education, women empowerment, and support to refugees.

In 2013, we continued our task of supporting disadvantaged populations by focusing our efforts on human rights, education and health care. FOH supported three important projects this year in different countries: in India, in Burundi and in Mongolia.
2012 was a year of continued progress for Friends of Humanity. Our main objectives were to reinforce our support of four main projects in education, health care and human rights and to continue our role as a platform where companies, donors and social projects can meet and share their ideas and experiences.
2011 has been a year of important progress for Friends of Humanity. The team was consolidated. FOH organized the third annual A Day to Share event, making it a sustainable event. In 2011, FOH also launched shop&help, its ethical e-shop.
2010 has been a great year for us as we started new projects in India and Tibet, organized the second edition of our annual event «A Day to Share» and started the Share&Help e-commerce platform project.
